My auntie Josephine playing the drums and vocal solo is a legend, she is a master of all instruments and even toured with tears for fears playing sax 🎷 Coolest Auntie ever!!! P.S she was part of the Marchioness Disaster in London which was a boat accident , all the best up and coming we’re on the boat at the time including my aunties cousin who was a dogs bollocks accountant in London. Her cousin died and she survived marginally because she used to swim for club and was a powerhouse in the water this saved her life. After she couldn’t recover and fell out with music. My heart goes out to her what a gifted human, she now lives in Dubai and comes back to the UK now and again. What an women miss your cheese on toast with a Yorkshire honey tea! OG aunt

We all have regrets, and mine is that, until very recently, I'd ignored Pete's wonderful solo work, and I never saw him live (though I did with Buzzcocks a couple of times, and he bought me a drink once.)

Pete's solo material is a goldmine and this performance with Barry with his signature bass sound is just sublime!

1983. It must have been a privilege to play in a band fronted by a great songwriter like Pete Shelley as evidenced by their performance.

I'm super fan and 1999 I was in Miami in a concert , so cool!, But today I don't know why, I come to find out about their entire origin as a band and even more so about a song whose title is my last name. Incredible story to my surprise. So even more I feel linked to this super band!!

Pete was as good out of Buzzcocks as he was in. This should have been a big solo hit for him.

What Gary created in the early years is truly amazing considering the technology at the time ... I have never tired of listening to these albums and never will, probably because I grew up listening to them ... I can still remember the buzz queuing outside The Other Record shop in Edinburgh to get his latest single or album ... It was an event back then ... Good times 😊😊

Legend band, soooo good. It was seeing them on The Tube back then that got me into lots of German music. Still love them now and stil rate Secret Wish as one of my fave albums ever.
